Giants players inside Mall of America during deadly shooting

The New York Giants were thought to be inside the mall during the shooting.

The mall in Bloomington, Minnesota was locked down after a 19-year-old man was killed in a shooting.

Pat Hanlon, the Giants' executive vice president of communications, told The Associated Press that some players were in the mall at the time of the shooting.

Everyone is accounted for and back in the hotel.

Bob Papa was inside the mall during the shooting.

The Giants are in Minnesota to play the Vikings.

A bystander's jacket was grazed by a bullet during the shooting at the mall, according to the police chief.

Someone pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times during an altercation between two groups, according to the chief. It took about 30 seconds for the whole incident to happen.

The mall is expected to reopen on Saturday, but the store will not open.
