Holland America Line introduces new and longer Europe cruises

Holland America Line will combine regions for new and longer voyages in the years to come.

Longer itineraries from April to November will be offered by the line. There will be seven to 35 day voyages.

Guests will be able to spend more time in the Baltic, British Isles, Canary Islands, the French and Spanish Riviera, Israel, the Mediterranean, and in Northern Europe in the 2024 season.

The Rotterdam will sail itineraries from its Dutch counterpart. Seven- to 14-day sailings will call in a number of countries.

There will be seven to 14 day voyages in Northern Europe to the Baltic, British Isles, North Cape, the Northern Isles of Scotland and Iceland. The Ultimate Viking Explorer is a 21-day sailing that takes place from Copenhagen. The routes that the Vikings once traveled are being retraced.

Next, the Zuiderdam will sail a 14-day Northern Europe cruise calling in Norway, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Demark. There are two sailings from Ijmuiden. A 35-day journey can be formed from the two cruises.

The Zuiderdam is scheduled to sail from Ijmuiden to Boston in June for a 21-day voyage tracing the Vikings that will include stops in Canada, Norway, and other Nordic countries. It can be combined with another voyage to make a 42 day voyage.

There will be a 14-day cruise departing from Rotterdam on April 21 with stops in Madeira, Gibraltar and Spain.

There are two flights from Fort Lauderdale toBermuda. In April, the Nieuw Statendam will cross with calls in several European countries. The Zuiderdam will cross to Ijmuiden in May.

There are cruises from Athens to Barcelona and from Barcelona to Trieste.

There are two places: Civitavecchia and Piraeus. There are sailings in the eastern and western Mediterranean from seven to 14 days.

The eastern Mediterranean will be the focus of the 14 day cruises on the Statendam. The ship will call in a number of countries. The Holy Land cruise will take place in October and will include an overnight in Haifa.

There will be a 35-day voyage of the Vikings on the Zuiderdam. The ship will call in a number of countries from Boston. The sailing is offered in 17 and 18 day periods.

Those who book the "Have It All" program will receive an upgrade to a higher internet package, a higher drink package and free gratuities. The upgrade will be available, but how long will it be?
