Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun opens

The Royalton Splash Riviera is now open. The resort is part of Marriott's Autograph Collection.

The 1,005-room property is 35 minutes from the airport.

All rooms at the hotel offer a terrace or balcony, as well as in-room Jacuzzis. The resort has a 24 hour room service.

The Diamond Club level gives guests access to preferred rooms with ocean views, enhanced menu options, butler service and private pool access.

There are a dozen food and beverage venues at the resort.

There are 14 water slides and tubes at the Royalton Splash Rivera Cancun.

There is a main pool and family pool, an outdoor theater, fitness facilities, the Royal Spa, a kids club, convention and meeting space, and a game center.

The recent extension of a partnership between Marriott and Sunwing Travel Group's Blue Diamond resorts has led to the launch of the Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun.

There are 20 properties in Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Grenada, Antigua and Cuba under the Royalton brand.
