It's normal to see lights around the holidays. At the beginning of the month, some people in Wisconsin saw speeding through the sky.

Chris Nowak has never seen anything like this.

The bright, white lights that several locals saw moving around the sky are being looked into by a group of people. The Daily Mail, New York Post and People have all written about it. He appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight to share his experience.

He and other Wisconsin residents saw something.

A line of light racing through the sky, spotted from I-43 near Greenfield

Chris Nowak of Mukwonago took a video of this blue-ish/purple hue in the sky (located to the center right of the image). About 10 seconds later, a white light (that can be seen toward the left of the hue) emanated from the hue. Seconds later, the white light shot forward through the clouds and separated into three different points.

One of Nowak's holiday traditions is going to West Allis' Candy Cane Lane with his family.

His wife saw something strange in the sky while they were on the freeway.

A line of light that would pulse through the sky was what Nowak described.

There was no rhyme or reason for how it moved. It went from one horizon line to the other. It moved from southwest to northeast. It would come back in a different direction.

According to Nowak, it didn't have a rhythm to it.

The light would come back and forth between the sky and the road for about 30 seconds.

Nowak said that they continued to see the sky go through the air.

Nowak pulled into a church's parking lot after exiting the interstate.

There was a blue-ish purple color in the sky when he looked up. The white light came from within the hue. The white light went through the clouds and separated into three points.

He said it reminded him of the Blue Angels. They flank out as they come towards you. I would describe this light in that way.

He said it would travel from east to west in less than a second. It was always moving towards the same color.

He said it was incredibly erratic. I don't know what to think about this. It wasn't like what we saw when we were driving.

'Playful' bright-white lights seen in West Bend

Kimberly of West Bend took a video of these bright lights (located at the center right of this image) moving through the sky on Dec. 1 in West Bend.

The night before Nowak's experience, a woman who did not want to give her last name, and her husband were driving east on Wallace Lake Road. It has acres of farm fields, dark skies and no light pollution, according to a person who has lived in that area for two decades.

A white owl swooped down in front of their Jeep's headlights after it passed Wallace Lake Supper Club around 10:45pm.

This was the same thing that had happened before. They are so bright white.

It happened again and again.

She said that they are just beyond what the heck is going on. We're looking out our window. What is going on in front of our headlights?

A couple is making a video.

It was different patterns and moving around in the sky.

There were a few "playful" lights left.

She said it was enjoyable to watch. It was difficult to remember what you were seeing.

She said she's watched the skies her entire life since her dad was a helicopter pilot.

She said she's never seen anything like it before. It's either something from outer space or a secret military matter.

Witnesses say the lights don't look like Starlink, spotlights, meteors or light shows

The Starlink satellites that were launched by Musk's company have been mistaken for alien spaceships.

There are spotlights and light shows at Disney World and Universal Studios.

He said this looked different.

There is a logical explanation for everything. He's still trying to find one here.

To see if anyone else saw what he did, Nowak scoured Facebook to see if anyone else had the same experience. He asked people to share their videos and stories in a private group.

The initial number of members was between 30 and 40. With people wanting to see the videos for themselves, the group has grown to over 500.

Nowak said they wanted to know what they and other saw. It's baffling to me.

Mick West, a columnist who investigates conspiracy theories, said that a Belgium family's locally famous Christmas light display was responsible for a number of unexplained occurrences in Wisconsin.

The spot of lights moving in the clouds is what you see from a distance. Their motion is followed by music on radio.

The light show lasts from 5 to 10:30 pm. After 10:45 p.m., she said her encounter happened.

There's no way that that would be possible, from where I was and what we saw. There wasn't anything coming from the ground between the distances. It was shining down in front of our headlights and it was coming from the sky.

She said she went to the light show and back. She said it was not the same.

Kim said they want to know what it is. If we could find out for certain, it would be great. Maybe one day we will.

UFO investigators are now looking into the lights

The ufologist and TV host Brittany Barbieri is leading an investigation into what these lights might be. UAP stands for something.

Barbieri said the two are investigating reports with Hypocenter.

The investigators have received over a dozen reports from the beginning of the month, including ones in Fredonia, Howard, the Green Bay area, and also BRIGHTON, MI.

Barbieri said that it's important that we look at everything, and look at all the plausible and possible explanations before we point a gun at a alien. We aren't saying this is an alien invasion or anything like that. We're looking for the person that's making these lights.

Barbieri and Hansen are trying to find a source of light that can show the type of light seen in the videos and also span the distances it was seen at. Barbieri said nothing is being ruled out at the moment.

Barbieri said that the lights project like a sky tracker aerial searchlight. She said that they presented the items to manufacturing companies that use sky trackers.

Barbieri said they reached out to local town halls, police departments, fire departments and the West Bend Airport for information.

Barbieri said it was like a crime scene. Before giving an objection of your opinion, you have to look at the whole puzzle.

A video of Hansen and Barbieri digging into accounts has been viewed more than 50,000 times.

Being there for each other and trying to find the source is the most important thing. It was just about the community coming together to help each other if we didn't have a source. That's what it's all about.

A weather or astronomical event? Weather service doesn't have leads

The National Weather Service was checked in by the Journalentinel.

There are no other explanations for the lights in the sky. On the first two nights of December, there was no lightning.

Cronce did not have any storms in the area. I don't know what that could have been.

The article was originally published on the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
