It's most likely the last time that LG will stand up for what it believes to be the right thing.
In the first quarter of 2023, the company will begin to roll out the new version of the operating system. The company's newest phone is on the new year plan. The dual-screen device was listed alongside the Velvet and received three major OS updates.
The first quarter of the new year is when the security updates for the Q61, Q 92 5G, and Q52 5G are expected to be released. We expect the Lg V60 to get Android 13 at some point.
There are security updates for devices in Korea, as well as an update for the mobile operating system. With that, owners of any of the mentioned devices will probably have to wait a little bit before they get the updates.

Even though it's no longer a part of the game, the company still pushes updates to its most recent phones even if it takes longer. TheLG Velvet and Wing are two of these devices, with the latter most recently receiving a very silentAndroid 12 update.
The OS update didn't hold a lot of significance for the phone other than the improvements that were made to the software. It's unfortunate for anyone hoping for a big Material You update with dynamic themes that there weren't many visual changes. At some point, owners of the Velvet and the Wing should expect that, as well, with the new version of the mobile operating system.
The final major OS update of this year will be the Android OS, which will leave anyone holding onto their old phone the only option of finding a new one.
