Jack Conklin has agreed to a four-year, $60 million extension with the Cleveland Browns, according to his agent.
He would have been a free agent after this season had he not taken a pay cut and restructured his contract.
He told reporters that he wanted to stay in Cleveland.
Conklin said that Cleveland will be his home for the rest of his life. I want to stay here for the rest of my career. We will see how that goes.
During the 2020 offseason, Conklin signed a new contract with the Cleveland Indians. He was selected to the All-Pro team in 2020 as the Cleveland Indians advanced to the playoffs for the first time in eighteen years.
Since returning from knee surgery in Week 3, he has started every game for the Cleveland.
Conklin ranks 25th in run block win rate and 10th in pass block win rate.
