According to a report, the Green Bay Packers made a big move.

According to Ian Rapoport, Elgton Jenkins agreed to a four year contract extension. The base value of the deal is $68 million.

He is the second- highest paid guard.

Nelson is the only other player at the position who was paid more.

The Green Bay Packers have a second round pick in 2019. In his first two years, he didn't miss a game and was a Pro Bowler.

He was only able to play eight games in 2021. He's appeared in 12 of the Packers' 14 games so far this season after recovering quickly from his injury.

Pro Football Focus gave him a grade of 74.4 and he was named a Pro Bowl alternate.

Despite a poor start to the season, the team is still in the playoffs. They are within striking distance of the Washington Commanders for the final wild-card spot after winning two in a row.

They are playing better football of late and are likely to win the game. It will be more difficult to win against the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and Lions than it is to win against the Chicago Bears and Rams.

Both Chicago and Los Angeles have 7-21 records.
