The feud between H&M and the Canadian singer has gotten worse.

H&M said on Thursday that it had obtained the rights to sell merchandise featuring the images of the singer.

H&M said in a statement that their license holder confirmed that they had the right contracts in place.

After he slammed the items on his stories, he urged his followers not to buy them. He did not approve of it.

H&M's online store was selling hoodies, t-shirts and sweatshirts with quotes from his lyrics such as "I miss you more than life" from the song "Ghost" for between $49.80 and $114.

H&M decided to remove the merchandise from its stores and website out of respect for the singer.

H&M said they were proud of the work they had done so far as a merchandise partner of the singer.

Insider's request for comment was not immediately responded to by representatives for the singer.

Weak sales at the company led to the fracas. H&M laid off 1,500 employees in November.

H&M is the second largest fashion retailer in the world.

H&M shares are down a lot.
