It's hard to dress warmly in a cold place, but you can do it in a dress, wig and makeup. When drag queens descended on the White Continent, they planted a flag for the LGBTQ community.
The event was the culmination of the first-ever all- lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer expedition cruise to the South Pole.
You might wonder what a kaboodle of drag queens is. The passengers came up with a new word to describe the group of performers because there wasn't a specific word to describe them.
"Because there's no official term for a group of drag queens, we had a meeting with all of them and they came up with a bunch of different terms," Patrick said. Both 'kaboodle' and'stiletto' were the two final choices. It was decided that 'kaboodle' was the final choice.
The word is usually spelled with a C and means "everything," "all of it" or "the whole shebang." It's the brand name for a popular line of makeup cases from the '90s and I challenge anyone to come up with a more fitting description.

When it came to talking about the experience of visiting with like-minded travelers, some of the other passengers didn't have much to say.
The passenger said that words don't do justice. Being a part of the historic expedition with my family is beyond my imagination.
The captain of Le Boreal said the same thing.
