  • An anonymous source has apparently spilled Google's plan for devices in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
  • The company's Pixel Fold and a rumored Pixel 7a may come simultaneously at some point during the next I/O event in April or May.
  • Plans for a Pixel 8a seem rocky as it hinges on the success of the 7a, while the Pixel 9 series may mirror Apple's marketing strategy.
  • 2025 could see the release of four Pixel smartphones, including a clamshell foldable.

As a result of a recent leak, excitement has been turned on it's axis as it details a potential plan for the company.

An unnamed source has leaked the information. There are deals that the person has brought forth with regards to the new devices that will be released by the company.

We are all looking forward to the release of the new foldable phone from the company, called the Pixel Fold. Recent leaks show us high-quality renders of the phone that show how close it is to thePixel 7 series. The device's unfolded size is thought to be around 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7mm, which would make it feel like an Oppo Find N compared to the Z Fold 4.

It's also when we'll see the Pixel Tablet. A smart home hub, complete with a magnetic charging dock, is likely to be one of the features of the first tablets from the search engine giant.

According to an anonymous source, there is another phone coming with the foldable device, which we know is the rumored Pixel 7a. It's possible that the new small phone's price is related to its soon-to-be past-gen variant.

The source said that the phones may launch at the same time as the I/O event in April or May.

It's believed that the company's next flagship phone series will be the Pixel 8. According to the source, the devices could use a new chip called the Tensor G3 and feature a smaller display. There is a possibility that the Pixel 8 Pro will be the same as thePixel 7 Pro.

Switching strategies

The year may be one for a new smaller phone release with a potentialPixel 8a. If the Pixel 7a doesn't perform well, the device's plans could be taken off the table. Consumers may see a price range for the proposed model if it does well.

There will most likely be another event hosted by the company later in the year as we look at the new series. Three different models of different sizes are possible, including one with a smaller display. The source claims that the search engine giant is interested in replicating Apple's marketing strategy with its products.

The code names for the phones are "caiman" and "komodo," while the chip that may power them is known as "redondo."

The tipster suggested that the first edition of the foldable device may not be as popular as the second edition.

We're far away from the future now, as the source stops at 25 years from now. The year may be a reflection on the company. It's been claimed that Google will look at how it's faired in the next two years before making any decisions. There is a rumor that the company is going to release another foldable in 25 years. The decision will be influenced by the success or otherwise of its first model. The form factor of this could be similar to that of the flip 4.

With or without a foldable, it's possible that as many as four Pixel phones will be released in 25 years.

We should take this road map with a pinch of salt. There are some similarities between what we've heard and what AA's source suggests, but the future of the project is still up in the air. This may give us an idea of what the future holds for the company as it pushes its line of phones.
