He's been a long-term solution at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Since taking over as the team's head coach, Hurts has been a full-time starter. Two years have passed since the young man showed the potential to become one of the game's top superstars.
The former Alabama and Oklahoma star didn't have to worry about missing time as Philadelphia won a lot of games.
He injured his shoulder in the third quarter of the team's win over the Bears.
He ran for a touchdown and a two-point conversion after uncorking a 69-yard pass to A.J. Brown.

While noting that Minshew was getting ready to play, Sirianni offered hope that Hurts could play.

Ian Book is behind Minshew on the depth chart. Minshew joined the Eagles as a backup in 2021, after spending the previous two seasons as the starter for the JacksonvilleJaguars. In 30 career games, he has completed 61.2 percent of his passes for 6,003 yards, 41 touchdown and 12 intercepts.
