Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leads the league in votes from fans but is not included in the Pro Bowl roster. As Tagovailoa was the odd passer out, Patrick, Josh, and Joe were chosen. There are three quarterbacks in the NFC. The Eagles have eight Pro Bowl selections, followed by the Cowboys, Ravens, and 49ers. The Rams defensive tackle and Packers defensive back were the first two players to make the team. Donald has been to the Pro Bowl nine times in a row. The Pro Bowl will no longer be a football game. The skills competition will end with a flag football game. TheAFC will play theNFC at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 5 at 3pm. There is an hour and a half later. Which players didn't make the roster? Who should be replaced by each snub? The players who were left out should make it in the future. We asked our analysts and reporters to weigh in, with the rest of the panel answering two questions The players who were snubbed were the first to get all the attention. The person he should replace is Trevon Diggs. Bradberry is the one who is snubbed the most. He has allowed 0.6 yards per coverage snap and minus 37 expected points added as the nearest defender, both of which are the best by any outside corner with at least 250 coverage snaps. He should be in the discussion for Defensive Player of the Year because of those numbers. The person he should replace is MilesSanders, the Eagles running back. The passing game is worth a lot more than the ground game. The 2.0 yards per route run is the best among all backs, and his overall score in the receiver tracking metrics is second best among running backs. Check the latest picture of the playoffs. James Bradberry, CB, Eagles
Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers
He should replace C.J.
The lowest and second lowest yards per coverage snap allowed and total EPA allowed at the position are ranked by the NFL Next Gen Stats.
With just two per conference, inside linebackers are the only ones who get the short end of the stick with these rosters.
He should replace KirkCousins, quarterback, Vikings.
There is no obvious candidate for the third quarterback spot, but the numbers are better for Goff. The offense that ranks third in EPA per dropback is led by the man who is more than 10 points clear in QBR. It's the third time! He did all that even though he didn't have the same receiving group to throw to.
Terry McLaurin should be replaced by Commander.
Lockett ranks second in both open score and catch score, and is tied for second in overall score with Jefferson, an indication of his exceptional skills that have gone unrecognized. In a season in which Russell Wilson foundered in Denver, we shouldn't overlook Lockett.
Jonathan Allen should be replaced.
Hargrave has 10 sacks and is ranked second in pass rush win rate behind Chris Jones. That was a tough miss.
The person he should replace is Quenton Nelson.
Smith should have been next to Joe Thuney. Smith is fourth in pass block win rate among guards this season, well ahead of Nelson, who has not played his best this season. The same stat shows Nelson is 38th.
Twenty-one Pro Bowlers hail from theNFC East, not to mention 13 of the conference's 27 starters, something few could've seen coming in the preseason. The Eagles and Cowboys accounted for 15 of those, and both could have been the source of some of my anticipated snubs. Tony Pollard and A.J. Brown made the cut. Pollard has been excellent, and I'm glad to see him included despite what has been effectively a partnership role with the other team's running back.
The Eagles needed more than eight Pro Bowlers. Javon Hargrave and James Bradberry were two of the Philadelphia players who deserved a spot on the team. The roster is the most complete.
The most surprising thing to me was that Eagles defensive tackle Javon Hargrave was left off the team. He is tied with Chris Jones for the second-most sacks of all tackles this season.
The juxtaposition of the quarterback selections by conference is Mike Tannenbaum's idea. The three passers from theNFC were all drafted in the second round or later and each took time to develop.
Only two rookies made the Pro Bowl this season, and while they each play a different position, they arrived at the league by very different paths. Both have been excellent and deserving of their spots.
The Jets have a running back named "Breece Hall." He was on a Pro Bowl-caliber trajectory before tearing anACL in Week 7, and while the lengthy recovery required for that particular surgery could cause a sluggish start to his 2023 campaign, he has the skills to take off in a big way by the middle of the year.
Christian McCaffrey is a running back for the 49er's. He has seven total touchdown in eight games with the Niners.
Kayvon Thibodeaux is a defensive end for the Giants. The top pick in the draft is slowly coming into his own. In the second year, expect that to continue.
Austin Ekeler is a running back for the San Diego CHARGERS. He has 95 catches with three more games to go. Ekeler is a versatile player
Yates said that he was a quarterback for the Bears. Fields is one of the best young players in the game and the league is lucky to have him. His performance this year is just the beginning.
