Caitlin Clark ties Elena Delle Donne as fastest to 2,000 points (0:16)

The fastest Division I women's basketball player to reach 2,000 points is Elena Delle Donne.

Clark had 20 points in the victory over Dartmouth. In the 75th game of her Iowa career, Clark reached 2,000 points.

In her 75th college game, Delle Donne crossed the 2,000 point mark, becoming the second player in league history to do so.

The two fastest women's players to reach 2,000 are Clark and Delle Donne. Since the beginning of the NCAA Division I era for women's basketball, the NCAA has not confirmed if they are the fastest to do so.

Delle Donne put her ninth on the NCAA Division I women's list with 3,039 points. The former Washington star is the leading scorer with 3,528 points. 13 women's players have scored more than 3000 points in the NCAA era.

Clark is the leading scorer and rebounder for the 13th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. She was the leading scorer in Division I last year. Her single-game career high is 46 points, set last season against Michigan, and her current season high is 45.
