H&M removes Justin Bieber merchandise following criticism from pop star

Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber arrives for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3, 2022.

H&M will no longer sell a line of clothing bearing the name and likeness of the singer, after he told fans he didn't approve of it.

The singer wrote that he didn't approve of the H&M shirt he was wearing. "Don't buy it"

H&M decided to remove the line from its stores and website out of respect for the singer. The company denied that it didn't ask for his approval.

H&M has followed all proper approval procedures, as we have done in this case, but out of respect for the collaboration and the person, we have removed the garments from sale.

H&M pulled all items from the line, according to a representative for the company. tote bags and phone accessories were included in the collection. Many of the products had lyrics to songs from his album, like the one called "Ghost"

There were no products on the H&M website when searching for the name of the singer.
