Shaunagh Brown
Brown's final England appearance came as a 73rd-minute replacement in November's Rugby World Cup final defeat by New Zealand

Brown, who won 30 caps, four Six Nations and a premier 15s title, will retire at the end of the year.

In November of last year, she made her international debut.

The Rugby World Cup final was her final England appearance.

"I couldn't think of a better way to end my life than by playing rugby and women," said Brown.

Rugby has changed my life in many ways. I'm thankful that I found the sport. It's time to get other people to try rugby and let it change their lives as well.

Brown previously competed in athletics, finishing 11th in the hammer final at Glasgow 2014

Brown had previously represented England in the hammer at the Commonwealth Games.

She is a firefighter, a heating engineer, and a diver.

When she first appeared on the show, she was a breath of fresh air. "Her positive attitude towards being the best she could be and attacking the opportunity was really refreshing."

She sat at the front of the meeting. She has always been willing to go out there. She would ask the question if there was a question. She's fearless in attacking things and that's a great quality in a person.

Shaunagh is a huge part of the Red Roses family.

When the Rugby World Cup is held in England in five years' time, Brown said she wanted to be involved in the media or a team official.
