George Hotz, known for being the first person to carrier-unlock an Apple device and also the hacker known asgeohot, has resigned from his internship.

He said he didn't think he could make a difference. He said it was sad to see his work being degraded.

On November 16th, Hotz offered to join the company after he voiced his support for Musk. The attitude that builds incredible things is what Hotz said when he resigned as CEO of Comma. All the people who don't want to be great should leave. Hotz said he would put his money where his mouth is with a 12-week internship at the micro-blogging site. Musk said, "let's talk"

On November 18th, Hotz said he was working for the social networking site. Three days after that, Hotz said Musk had asked him to fix two things, one of which was the popup on the right side of the screen if you don't log in.

If we start Hotz's employment clock on November 18th, then he spent about five and a half weeks on the social networking site. I am not sure if Hotz fixed search or not, but I have noticed that you can now close out of the login popup and continue to browse.

Hotz indicated recently that he was considering leaving. Users voted for Hotz not to step down as an intern, but he was questioned if he could have any lasting impact on the company. He was not happy with the ban on links toInstagram. Even though he is leaving early, Hotz is still rooting for the success of the social networking site.
