As soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job, I will give up my position as CEO.
The billionaireentrepreneur, who acquired the social media company at the end of October in a deal worth $44 billion, said on Tuesday night that he would run the software and server teams once a new CEO was in place.
I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.

The decision to step down as CEO follows a poll conducted by Musk last week in which he asked, "Should I step down as the head ofTwitter?" He said that he would follow the results of the poll.
More than 17 million people voted in the poll and 57.5% of them said he should step down.
On Tuesday, Musk confirmed for the first time that he would honor the results of the poll and bring in someone else to run the site.
At the moment, no one knows how long it will take to find someone willing to take on the job. It will be interesting to see if Musk keeps calling the shots from behind the scenes.
There has been a lot of turmoil and controversy surrounding the platform since Musk took over, including mass staff layoffs, the reinstatement of thousands of previously banned accounts, and the recent banning of a number.
