Families can use the family payment method to restrict purchases on the Play Store. Children will be able to send a purchase request for the manager of the family account to approve when there is no present payment method.
When the family doesn't have a payments method, children can ask for approval for both paid apps and in-app purchases. Under pending and history tabs, the manager can see these requests.

When you want to have complete control over your children's purchases, this method is the best way to go. You can see all the apps and in-app purchases your children are interacting with, and the ones you don't need or want.
Better oversight of how children interact with its services has been put in place by the company. The company gave a web version of the Family Link app along with a redesign. The Play Store policy was changed last month to make it harder to certify an app as a children's app.
