MLB Rumors: Carlos Correa's Giants Press Conference Postponed over 'Medical Concern'

According to a report from Ronald Blum of the Associated Press, Carlos Correa's introductory press conference with the San Francisco Giants was delayed due to a medical concern.

The conference to welcome Correa was put on hold because the sides were waiting for the test results. According to a second person, a medical issue was flagged during the physical.

One of the biggest moves of the MLB off-season was the signing of Astros outfielder Carlos Correa.

He was one of a number of prominent players who took advantage of the free agency period.

Injuries have been an issue throughout his career, as he only played 150 or more games in a regular season once. The press conference was scheduled for 2 pm. Adding more concern to the proceedings will be caused by the cancellation of Tuesday's show.

Throughout his career, he has been very good when healthy. In his lone season with the Minnesota Twins last year, the two-time All-Star, one-time champion and 2015 American League rookies of the year hit............. He began his career with the Houston Astros.

After failing to lure Judge away from the New York Yankees, San Francisco was able to get Correa, who was a huge fan of the Giants. Judge chose to stay in New York for nine years.

The Giants, who were looking to bolster their lineup, appeared to have locked down several players. The addition of Correa is being questioned.
