Jalen Hurts: 'Definitely a chance' to play vs. Cowboys (0:41)

The Eagles will play the Cowboys in Week 16. There is a 0:41

The Eagles coach said that Hurts has a shoulder injury, but he isn't ruling him out for Saturday's game against the Cowboys.

He isn't going to put a timetable on Hurts' injury because he's one of the toughest players he knows and someone who heals fast.

"I don't put it past Hurts, I don't put anything past Hurts as far as his physical and mental strength,'' Nick said. He might be able to play this week.

He said there is a chance he will be able to play on Saturday. When asked if he could throw, he nodded.

The Eagles will prepare for both Hurts and Minshew, even though they will keep Hurts' safety in mind.

When he is ready to play, we will play him. It's this week if that's the case. It is next week if it is next week. He is ready to play when he is. It's all aspects.

At the end of the third quarter in the Eagles' victory over the Chicago Bears, Hurts was injured when he was driven into the ground by a defensive lineman. Hurts stayed on the ground for a few moments after the hit, but continued to play. He ran for 61 yards and scored three times in the win.
