The company has a new product called "Twitter Blue for Business." The purpose of this new feature is to allow businesses to distinguish themselves.
Any number of affiliated individuals, businesses, and brands can be linked to a company's main account on the social networking site. Once this is done, those that are affiliated with them will get a small badges with the logo of the company they are affiliated with.

Leadership roles with the company, brands, support accounts, employees, and teams are available. Journalists and professional sports players are eligible for this branding. Not all features are available on all platforms according to the company. As we improve the service, the blue for business features may change.
"Our goal is to make it accessible to businesses of all sizes, in time it'll become a self-serve system," Esther Crawford said when she answered a question about how available this feature would be to businesses of different sizes. The platform is looking to expand its availability and make this subscription even more accessible.
