The results of the Benchmarks of the not-yet-released Intel Core i9-13900HX are amazing.

Even some of the best desktop processors may be rendered useless by Intel's upcoming laptop processor. Apple's M2 Max is an example of a chip that is in danger.

The Intel Core i9-13900HX processor is part of the upcoming Raptor Lake-HX laptop lineup, which will most likely be unveiled during the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Some of the best gaming laptops to date will be powered by the processors from this range. The benchmark that leaked today proves that the Core i9-13900HX will still be one of the most powerful processors on the market.

The specifications imply that we are dealing with a high end chip. The base clock speed of the Core i9-13900HX is said to be around 3.8 GHz. It has a thermal design power of 55 watt and a boost speed of up to 5.4 GHz. According to Wccftech, the CPUs will have a built-in graphics card with 32 execution units, but Intel mostly uses Xe-cores instead, so we will have to see about this particular specification. It is hard to imagine a laptop maker putting this processor into a machine that doesn't have a powerful graphics card.

One of the first tests for the CPUs was in Geekbench. It scored over 2000 points in both the single-core and multi-core tests. The results put it in front of the competition. The processor may beat current-gen desktop chips too.

The Core i9-13900HX will be the fastest laptop processor when it comes out. It beats the previous-gen Core i9-12900HX in multi-threaded tests, but it only gets 16,000 points in the single-core portion.

The Core i9-13900HX is set to beat the Core i7-13700K in multi-core operations. The Ryzen 9 7950X runs at 55W to 100W and is slower than it is. The leaked benchmark results of the Apple M2 Max show that the Intel chip may be up to 44% faster.

The performance of the Core i9-13900HX seems to be one of the best of its kind. In a few weeks, we may find out more during the Consumer Electronics Show.
