People familiar with the deal say the brothers are buying most of the team. 40% is owned by sarver. Only Dyal Home Court Partners is a minority investor in the team.
Forbes valued the Suns at over 2 billion dollars. The previous record for an NBA team sale was held by Joe Tsai, who paid $3.2 billion for the Brooklyn Nets. The Denver Broncos were the only team to sell at a high price.
