Sky Sports News can exclusively tell you that Bhupinder Singh Gill will be the first Sikh-Punjabi assistant referee.
Singh Gill, who has been an official since he was a teenager, will be in charge of the game at St Mary's.
The man in the middle for the game will be Thomas Bramall, while the assistant referee will be Singh Gill. The match VAR is Lee Mason with the assistant VAR.
Jarnail Singh was the first turbaned referee in the history of the English Football League. Between 2004 and 2010 Jarnail worked more than 150 matches in the divisions and was a fourth official in the premier league.
Sky Sports News revealed in the summer that Bhupinder's brother would follow in his father's footsteps and become the first British South Asian to referee in the English Football League.
The referee of the 2010 World Cup final tipped the brothers to go to the top.
"I think both of them need to be trying to get into the premier league and the international panel of the world cup," he said.
