Priest Frank Pavone was defrocked by the Vatican

Frank Pavone, an anti- abortion activist, was removed from the priesthood by the Vatican. The decision to defrock the Florida-based priest was made on November 9 with no chance for an appeal.

Laicization is the process of removing a bishop, priest, or deacon from the church. It is one of the most severe punishments a priest can receive.

The removal of Father Pavone was done after he was found guilty of insubordinate conduct and disobedience of his bishop.

Pavone compared the decision to remove him from the church to the abortion of a fetus. If you defend the Unborn, you will be treated the same as them. When we areaborted, we continue to speak loudly and clearly.

In a video, Pavone spoke to his social media followers wearing a leather jacket over his priest collar and said he would continue to work for his anti- abortion causes.

A video of an aborted fetus on an altar was posted on two social media sites by a leader of the Priests for Life group.

In the post, Pavone said, "I am showing him to you because in this election we have to decide if we will allow this child murdering to continue in America or not." The Democratic platform says, "Yes, let the child- killing continue." Donald Trump and the Republican platform do not agree with that.

In a press release titled "I will not be silenced or canceled" posted on the Priest's for Life website, Pavone claimed some individuals in the Church have been trying to silence his voice for 20 years.

Pierre stated in the letter that Pavone had a lot of opportunities to submit himself to the authority of his bishop. Father Pavone had no justification for his actions.
