Musk’s alleged stalker identified; no evidence of ElonJet tracking, report says

On Wednesday last week, Musk said that he believed that a stalker used a Twitter account to locate him at a gas station near the Los Angeles International Airport. Musk banned the account and threatened legal action against the account's creator after he posted a video of the alleged stalker and blamed the account for endangering his family.

The alleged stalker came forward after the police investigated the incident. On Saturday, the man in the video was said to have said, "I am the guy in the video"

There is no evidence that the man police were investigating had used the jet- tracking account. There was no evidence that Musk's kids were in the car at the time of the incident. The police told The Post that no crimes had been committed and no crime reports had been filed.

Ars could not immediately be reached for comment by the three mentioned. According to Sweeney, any legal action from Musk would make him look worse. It's suspicious that the incident happened almost a day later, so far from the airport, and that an employee shared with Sweeney internal discussions about whether or not his account would be restricted. Sweeney told Ars that he removed the app from his phone so that it wouldn't be tracked. He said that the experience has turned him off to social media. "I don't know if I would use it because they would just be watching me," Sweeney said.

The incident occurred around 23 hours after Musk's jet landed in south Pasadena. The gas station is close to the house of Musk's former girlfriend.

He told The Post that he was interested in Musk and Grimes. According to the man, he stopped by the gas station after visiting a friend and working as a delivery driver. He said that Musk's security worker confronted him at the gas station. Police arrived and said that they would be filing a report after he answered questions. He told The Post that he hasn't heard from the police in a while.

He believed that Musk had been watching him in real time and that he had been blocking him from getting delivery orders. According to The Post, Musk has "connections to me" and has "stalked me and my family for over a year."

Ars didn't get a response to their request for comment on the status of the delivery driver.
