Paul “Triple H” Levesque

I was one of the people that was hopeful. When Triple H took over creative, I had hope because the product had left me cold for a long time. My re-entrance to wrestling was due to HHH's NXT on the WWE Network. He won't take responsibility for it, but he was the reason I found NJPW and AEW. You had to watch it all because he incorporated so much and it was so fascinating that you wanted to see more of it. I was hoping that there would be strong elements of the main roster turning into the NXT.

Yeah...nah...

It wasn't a good weekend for anyone who believed in the future of wrestling. The news centered around the lowballing of the former Sasha Banks by HHH and the fact that he was going to be in another company. After walking out on Vince McMahon, Banks wanted to be paid the same as the top female stars in the company. They didn't like it. She is in her fifth year and they said she wouldn't be the same. She wasn't the same as either Charlotte orBecky Lynch according to them.

A company that specialized in some of the wackiest bullshit for decades or more will be near the top. If Mercedes has a chip on her shoulder and is determined to prove that they were wrong about her, it will take the cake. Smaller stars like Charlotte andBecky Lynch aren't automatic, but the in-ring worker of the same name is. You would be told that by them. Lynch can make a classic with a partner. She has a big personality. Four times a year, Charlotte tries to match up with another person.

Banks can match anyone with a good match. She doesn't take a match off. She spends a lot of time in Japan or Mexico to train in a different style. Charlotte can't match her love of wrestling. The women's division is only for generals.

She doesn't lack personality. Was that person who booked a regular character on The Mandalorian also the one who appeared on Hot ones? She was the greatest thing that HHH produced. How could she not be recognized by everyone? I wonder if there is a difference between the two girls. It might take a second to figure it out. There is a giant sign over her head as she wanders through another match. That is what the women's division is supposed to be.

As historic as the Wrestlemania main event was, the two best women's Wrestlemania matches still involved Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. It is no accident. If you want to know if any of the women who are considered to be the best in the business could produce that match, just ask. My ass. Let's be honest here! There are a lot of people who say that the Hell In A Cell match was the best match of her career.

It is stunning, and beyond baffling, that WWE and HHH will allow her to walk wherever she pleases. She will make Stardom, the cult favorite among wrestling fans that quickly grows in popularity in America thanks to matches that get everyone talking and everyone has to see, a reality. She will redefine what AEW is if Tony Khan is willing to put up the money that WWE won't. AEW will get a Mercedes that is determined to have every type of match she has ever wanted to, not just the same style he had to put on for years. She was thrown through the roof by her opponent. Did we do that? Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter will be the first ones to line up. She could have a match with either Riho or Hikaru Shida. It could be a straight up work-rate classic with any of the above. It is possible that she is the mean girl that kicks off the white meat babyface run. She can do what she pleases. The world of wrestling will be taken over by a woman who can do anything. That isn't worth much to a company raking in billions.

Was she worried that she would be called upon to do something? Is there a problem with that? Are they going to make The Rock a part of the next event? Isn't john cena going to be there? Why is he being punished for something that could happen?

It wasn't just the stupidity of the person. The company fired Mandy Rose for leaking photos on her site. We know that there is a policy that restricts the other outlets that their performers can profit from. Until some things out of her control broke, there was no problem with what she was doing.

Rose violated his contract by taking nude pictures. It looks odd that the main feature of Rose's character was her appearance, though she was more than competent in the ring, but it wasn't the main feature. They had a wrestler that was billed as a sexbomb, happy to promote her photos, and yet they didn't like when she started making more money off of that than they were paying her. It is laughable that WWE didn't know what Rose was sharing on her page. Rose gave a presentation for over a year on NXT, and as champ, the whole act wears thin.

It isn't that it's all been a loss since HHH took over. The best story in wrestling is the one with the Bloodline. You can't help but think that it won't live up to all it can be when The Rock is forced into the show. Unless Edge is healthy, the top title on the show is just three guys. None of the names HHH has brought back have made a huge impact on either show, except for Dakota Kai and Iyo. There are better matches on TV and the matches get more time to breathe. It seems like it could be more.

They just walk out the door for their own reasons. It feels like we will be waiting on the change for a long time.
