Tom Cruise is well known for doing as many of his own stunts as possible, no matter how dangerous or unnecessary they seem to be. This behind-the-scenes look at Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning shows how much work and care goes into these stunts and keeps Cruise alive.
When I first saw this video, I thought of the opening scene of GoldenEye, in which James Bond drives a motorcycle off a cliff and into a plane. The special effects were not as impressive as I remembered, but it sounds more impressive than just pulling a parachute. Pierce Brosnan did not do any of this madness.
Why does Tom Cruise put his life in danger for these Mission: Impossible movies? He's a crazy person and it's great publicity. After seeing Cruise do all this nonsense, I'm more interested in watching Dead Reckoning.
