Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, along with two other prominent Republicans, sent a message to migrants on the security of the U.S.-Mexico border.

On Wednesday, Donald Trump's immigration policy expired, allowing the "rapid expulsion" of migrants. Over 2 million migrants were barred from entering the country due to the policy that was put in place in March 2020.

Abbott had claimed that his previous claims of an "open border" sent a message to Mexico.

"I don't think I've ever heard President Biden say 'We have an open border, come on over'"

People have said that it's former President Trump. In Mexico, that message is heard. The message that it is an open border is what they get.

It was known from the time that Joe Biden was elected that he supported open borders, according to Abbott. Biden may enforce immigration laws.

What do you think about that? Can you tell me what you can do better?

The use of the term "open border" to describe Biden's policy has been inconsistent with his stance on immigration.

There isn't an open border. The professor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley said that it was absurd.
