The first trailer for Christopher Nolan's first film, which stars Cillian Murphy, puts the actor front and center. Shots of Murphy's horrified Oppenheimer, murmuring ominously about the unprecedented power he's helped bring into the world, are intercut with abstract slow- motion explosions, swirling particles, and various terrifying orbs.

None of the other stars of the film appear in the trailer. The film will be shown in theaters on July 21,23.
