The mother of Stephen "tWitch" Boss spoke out after his death. The grieving mom penned an emotional note about her son in a since-expired social media post.

Alexander wrote a letter to his family and friends. All the messages, texts, posts and phone calls are visible to me. Right now, I can't say anything. When I can, please let me know.

The heartbreaking note ended with an address to Boss himself.

The DJ and former star of "So You Think You Can Dance" was found dead of a gunshot wound in Los Angeles, according to reports. Allison Holker Boss announced his death earlier this week.

Alexander said she couldn't use words at the moment.

She told CNN and People that she had to share the news of her husband's death. Stephen lit up all the rooms he entered. He valued his family, friends and community more than anything.

She said that he was the best husband and father and an inspiration to his fans.

The entertainment industry paid homage to Boss online. She said she would miss him, and considered him a family member. His mother publicly celebrated his 40th birthday just months before he died.

I couldn't have imagined a better trip. The outcome is everything. Alexander wrote in the past. For the past 40 years, God has protected and blessed you. To all the days to come.

The boss is survived by his family.
