He is a two-time All-Star who has played 14 seasons in baseball. The Los Angeles Dodgers have won three National League pennants and one World Series with him.
He has hit at least one home run in three different seasons.
Before the New York Mets claimed him off waivers in 2010, he was with the Baltimore Orioles. He moved to a utility role in 2012 after playing second base for the Mets.
Turner was in and out of the lineup for three years in New York before he signed with the Dodgers.
He hit a career-high.340 in the year after entering the lineup because of injuries to Hanley Ramrez and Juan Uribe. In 2015, he became a full-time fixture at third base. He finished in the top 15 in the NL Most Valuable Player voting in each of the last three years.
While in L.A., Turner hit.300 with 156 home runs and 571 runs scored.
