A man and a baby are dead and a woman is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash on Friday. Cooper Lamb, the son of Sheriff Mark Lamb, was named one of the victims by Gilbert police.

A red passenger car was hit by a silver truck that was travelling at what appeared to be normal speeds. The car tried to turn left on Cole Drive.
Gilbert Fire and Rescue first responders tried to save the lives of the three people in the red car, but Cooper Lamb and the baby were dead at the scene. The driver of the red car had a life threatening injury.
According to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, Cooper Lamb's fiancée and mother are in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt. The truck driver was arrested after an investigation by the Gilbert Police Department.
