The city of Delaware is located in the state of Delaware. The 50th anniversary of the car crash that killed Biden's first wife and their baby daughter was marked by a memorial service held by the president and his family.

Biden, who had just been elected to the Senate in 1972, was not in the car when his wife, Neilia, and their daughter, Naomi, were hit by a tractor-trailer. Beau and Hunter were seriously injured when they were in the car with their parents.

Biden almost gave up his political career when he was 30 years old after the accident. He commuted from Washington to Delaware on the advice of other senators. Biden has become a defining trait of his political career because of his openness around grief and his ability to empathise with Americans who have lost a loved one.

Biden and his wife had a child, a daughter. Both women joined him on Sunday, as did Hunter and many of the president's grandsons. After the service, the family went to the graves.

Beau Biden passed away from brain cancer at the age of 46. At the cemetery, he is buried.
