Anthony Davis will not be able to play for the Los Angeles Lakers due to an injury.

Davis is expected to be out for one month.

This season, Davis was mostly healthy. He didn't miss a game in the first 28 games. The eight-time All-Star injured his foot during the game against the Denver Nuggets.

Davis was removed from the game in the first quarter due to a foot injury. He came back in the second quarter but didn't score for eight minutes.

Davis sat out the rest of the game. Dave McMenamin reported that he was going to have an exam to determine the source of the pain in his foot.

Davis has been with the Lakers for a long time. He played in 76 games over the last two years.

Davis is off to a great start to the season. The 29-year-old is having a good time. He is shooting a career high percentage from the field.

There were nine games in a row from November 13 to December. Davis averaged 35.3 points and 15.3 rebound per game.

The Lakers don't have a lot of depth on their roster, even though they lost one of their best players. On the offensive end of the court, he will have to shoulder a bigger burden.

Bryant will take Davis' place in the starting lineup. In 14 appearances, he has averaged 9.2 points and 4.2 rebound.
