According to a pool report, crew chief John Goble said that Morant was assessed two technicals, one for using profanity and one for questioning the integrity of an official.
Goble denied that the second technical was called because of Morant's conversations with fans.
Morant confirmed the conversation and said he wasn't talking to the official before either technical.
I got my first tech because I said I was hit in the face. Morant did not curse at him. I got another tech for talking with a fan when he was in my conversation. When these fans went online to buy tickets, they didn't mention Ray's name.
