An official at the prison where Sam Bankman-Fried is being held said he is in good spirits.

A judge on Tuesday denied him bail and ordered him to remain in jail until February, when he will be extradited to the US.

The US charged Bankman-Fried with fraud and money-laundering and he was arrested in the Bahamas.

An official at the prison told The Post that Bankman- Fried came off as arrogant and scared, but that he seemed like a nice guy. If a judge doesn't grant him bail, Bankman-Fried would be prepared to face the music in the US, according to the official.

According to a report by the State Department, Fox Hill prison is overcrowded and understaffed, and inmates have said they had to remove human waste with buckets.
