The Ukrainian national project "Hochu Zhit", which gives Russian soldiers an opportunity to surrender, has been used by over one million people in the Russian Federation.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is on the air.

More than one hundred thousand people have used information from the "Hochu Zhit" project. Most of them are people who live in the Russian Federation.

These people are not intending to surrender, but are looking for a way to save their lives in this war.

According to Yusov, every day more than 100 people make contact with the project through various means.

There are results that apply to both individual Ruscists and whole divisions. Private divisions as well as groups of officers are included. The largest activity we get is from the partially mobilised. The spokesman said that the people who don't understand what they're doing in the war against Ukraine are the ones who are here.

The goal of the Ukrainian national project is to help Russian soldiers surrender to the Ukrainian army.

Russian soldiers and their relatives can get information on how to surrender by calling the hotline.

Over two thousand Russian soldiers have contacted the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine asking for an opportunity to surrender.
