A Kentucky woman walked out of her company's holiday party $175,000 richer after she received a lottery scratch-off.

According to The Kentucky Lottery, a dentist from Louisville took part in the white elephant gift exchange with her coworkers at the party.

During the game, one of her colleagues stole her TJ Maxx gift card, and she took the $25 worth of scratch-off tickets from another coworker.

Janes said that it was done and he kept it. Everyone told me to scratch them off.

Janes realized that she had won $50 when she scratched one of the tickets. After she realized she won all 15 spots on the ticket, she became a bigger winner.

I won one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars after exchanging twenty-five dollars for a gift card. Janes said she told the lottery.

Janes and her family walked out of the lottery headquarters with $124,000. She plans to use the money to pay off her daughter's student loans.
