With England struggling to break the deadlock against Wales, Rashford took aim and fired the Three Lions in front with a magnificent free- kick.

Ramos scored on his way to a hat- trick.

In his side's 6-1 win against Switzerland, Goncalo Ramos made an impression when he came in for Portugal's talismanic player.

His first goal was a beauty, driving in from a tight angle, and he also scored a hat-trick.

The 20-pass Dutch move was finished by Memphis Depay.

The total football from the Netherlands, who played out from defence before Depay applied the deadly finish that their 20-pass move deserved against the USA.

There is a Portuguese man named Goncalo Ramos.

With all the attention on Portugal's captain being dropped, his replacement, Ramos, shone with a trio to send his side into the last eight.

Much was expected of the Danes after they reached the Euro 2020 semifinals. They left with just one point from three games in a group that included France, Australia and Tunisia.

Saudi Arabia stuns Argentina.

Saudi Arabia pulled off one of the biggest shocks in World Cup history as they came from behind to beat Argentina in their opening game.

Spain was beaten in a penalty shoot out.

After a goalless draw, Morocco beat Spain in a penalty shoot out.

There was a hat-trick against Switzerland.

Fernando Santos could not have asked for a better outcome as his replacement Ramos became the youngest player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup.

There was a winner in the Morocco-Portugal game.

Morocco became the first African and Arab nation to reach a World Cup semi-finals after En- Nesyri's powerful headed goal.

A woman is dancing with her son.

The sight of Boufal dancing on the pitch with his mother encapsulated the joy of the people of Morocco.

Japan defeated Spain after a questionable goal.

Is it over the line or not? The ball's shape helped Japan in Kaoru Mitoma's cutback for Ao Tanaka's tap-in. They topped Group E and advanced to the last 16 despite Germany missing out.

It was a Dutch free- kick.

Wout Weghorst finished off one of the most ingenious and audacious free-kick routines in World Cup history against Argentina to take the tie into extra time.
