The 200th mission was carried out by the company on Friday.

The rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 in Florida. The time is 2248GMT.

Just under nine minutes after liftoff, the first stage came back down and landed on a boat in the Atlantic. The eighth touchdown was scored by the reuse booster.

The O3b mPower 1 and 2 satellites were carried on the second stage. About two hours after the launch, the satellites were put into place.

There are 8 ways that the space company has changed spaceflight.

SES owns and operates O3b mPower 1 and 2. The initial constellation of 11 high-throughput and low-latency satellites will provide multiple Terabits of global broadband connection from MEO.

Each satellite is based on a Boeing BSS-702X satellite bus and has a phased array antenna that can provide up to 5,000 spot beams to distribute hundreds of gigabits of capacity to users on the ground. Six more O3b mPower satellites will be launched by SES in the next two years.

The mission was the 200th of its kind for the company. The first liftoff of the Falcon 9 took place on June 4, 2010 after five flights in a row. The name of the rocket is due to the fact that it is powered by nine engines. The second stage uses a single Merlin to complete the journey to space.

Over the years, the launch rate of the Falcon 9 has increased as it has proven its reliability and reusability, while also evolving into its final Block 5 version. A record 57 missions were flown by the rocket in just one year.

The Falcon Heavy uses three modified Falcon 9 first stages.

There won't be time for a celebration of the 200 mission milestone. A lot of Starlink broadband satellites are going to be launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Saturday.

The story was changed at 9:00 pm. On December 16th, there was news of successful satellite deployment.
