The Google Home app on Wear OS 3 just got updated, and it's already much better

Some changes are being made to the Google Home app on Wear OS to make it quicker and easier to use.

Performance improvements and simplified navigation were noted in the update. The app should be easier to use and feel quicker, which I have already noticed. The simplicity of the navigation is more noticeable when opening the app.

Instead of opening the app in the room, the app jumps into your device. The quicker you can access and control your products from the watch, the easier it will be to find the room or device you're looking for.

Users with 10 devices or less will see an easy to scroll list to make it easier to control their smart home devices. Users will be able to control devices that are linked to their accounts but not assigned to a room. As you scroll through the app, the devices will be grouped by their rooms.

The change is similar to the redesign of the Home that puts more focus on devices by making them front and center.

This update should start rolling out to devices over the next few days, although so far, it's appeared on our Fossil Gen 6wellness Edition.
