  • The dummy units for the upcoming Galaxy S23 series appear to have leaked.
  • While the Galaxy S23 Ultra may not look different in design, the S23+ and S23 have had the shimmering camera module removed.
  • A full reveal of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series may happen soon as its Unpacked event is rumored for early February.

There is a leak of a possible first look at the hardware version of the S23 series.

The dummy units were posted by SlashLeaks. It still doesn't seem like we should expect much of a difference in the design language from the previous iteration, and the dummy units all but confirm this.

The leaked dummy unit images show that the larger display size of the S23 Ultra makes it larger than the other two models in the series. There is an S Pen slot at the bottom right hand of the device in one of the photos. The fact that the S22 Ultra had this Note-like feature made it quite notable, and it appears that the next-gen flagship device will also have that feature.

The image is the first of four.

The leaks give us a good look at the new design of the S23 and S23. In the past, we've seen this in leaks where the camera island design has been removed. This would blend nicely into the side of the phone on the S22 and S22 Plus. The S23+ and S23 more closely match the camera design of the top-of-the-line model by removing it.

Up to 200MP photos can be supported by this system. It's been rumored that the S23 Ultra will have an upgraded main shooter of 200MP, which will most likely reach this bar.

It has been speculated that the company's Unpacked event will take place in February. It's been said that we could have this event hosted in San Francisco, California, where we could see the S23 series in all it's glory and learn more about its satellite connection.
