The accounts of several high-profile journalists were suspended late Thursday, with a discussion on the matter featuring Musk himself.

Many reporters, including Musk, saw their accounts suspended without warning on Thursday. Ryan Mac of The New York Times, Donie O' Sullivan of CNN, Drew Harwell of The Washington Post, Matt Binder of Mashable, and independent journalists are also included.

Jack Sweeney is a college student who runs the ElonJet account, which tracks flights by Musk's private jet using public flight data. Musk said in November that he wouldn't allow that account to be suspended.

Musk said that real-time location info of anyone will be suspended if they do it. Links to sites with real-time location information are posted.

The reporters were able to use the space despite their suspension. Several of the reporters, along with Jack Sweeney of the ElonJet account, gathered in a Spaces call hosted byKatie Notopoulos to discuss the suspensions, and Musk himself briefly joined the call Musk said, "You dox, you get suspended." He left after a short time.

The exchange between Musk and the reporters was recorded by a number of users. You can see it here.
