Wilson will start at quarterback for the New York Jets on Sunday.

The head coach said that Mike White wouldn't be available for the game.

White suffered a rib injury in the Bills game and won't be cleared to play.

Wilson was going to be moving up the depth chart. Joe Flacco was White's backup for the last three games.

Wilson was benched after a poor outing against the Pats. He went 9-of-22 for 77 yards.

Wilson's demeanor rubbed some of his teammates the wrong way because he was walking around the locker room "like he isn't the problem," according to SNY.

The Jets coach said that the quarterback was the same one who went 18 for 18 in a bowl game.

In the past three games, White has thrown for 952 yards with three touchdown and two pick ups.

Wilson was the starter for the Jets this season. They are 5-5 with him under center. He is completing less than 50 percent of his attempts.

The Jets are fighting for a spot in the playoffs. They are in a three-way tie for the lead with the New England and Los Angeles teams at 6-7.

The Lions have won five in a row and are playing in New York.
