National ugly sweater day is celebrated by Alaska Airlines and they are happy about it.

There are few things we love more than getting a special perk on a flight, and early boarding is no exception. There is a way to jump the line during the holiday season.

For the sixth year in a row, Alaska is back with its famous "ugly sweater" promotion, so if there was ever a time to wear a Christmas sweater, this is it. If you wear a tacky, festive or just downright merry sweater, you will get priority boarding on your flight on December 16th. All Alaska andHorizon Air flights are included in the one day promotion.

Alaska Airlines is selling its own version of a holiday sweater, and fashion expert Tan France from "Queer Eye" gave it the seal of approval. France says that holiday sweaters are the epitome of a win-WIN. They are acceptable to transition from a daytime look to an after-hours happy hour event.
