Andy Scott, former chief executive of 188Bet and interim chief executive of the Wasps Legends Charitable Foundation, has been named the new CEO of the club.

Holland joined the old Wasps board as a non-executive director and is now the custodian of the club. I'm notunderestimating that duty.

He has more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement and risk management, and has worked for the Ministry of Defence, Marks & Spencer, and B&Q.

Scott said that they were proud and delighted to have secured the future of the club.

"Wasps is a famous and highly regarded name in the history of English and European rugby and while this is a new venture and a fresh start, it is fundamentally built on the same values that brought the club success and respect in its heyday."

The offer from the consortium including members of the club's legends group was accepted at the end of October and the club went into administration in October.

The RFU has a financial viability group.

The women's team is not included in the bids. They are not part of the amateur side.
