More fans will be able to watch the movie "Black Adam" now that it's on the internet.
The movie "Black Adam" was released in October. The story is about a man named Teth Adam who used his powers for revenge and was quickly imprisoned. Archeologists freed Adam so he could help save Kahndaq from the Intergang. The Justice Society includes Doctor Fate, Hawkman, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone.
Critics and fans were not impressed by the movie. Johnson's performance was described as "under-seasoned" and "ponderous." "Black Adam" was described by David Ehrlich as a "lifeless spectacle" and a "cheap copy of one from Gotham"
The film earned $400 million worldwide against a $195 million budget, which doesn't include marketing and other costs. It was claimed that Black Adam would lose between $50 million and $100 million. Johnson said "Black Adam" would net between 52 million and 72 million.
There is still hope that "Black Adam" will do well now that it is available on the internet. The movie is making its streaming debut over the holiday season which could help it.
Morbius, a movie with an antihero, flopped at the box office, only earning $163 million worldwide and $74 million in the US with a budget of $75 million. The movie was a success even though Sony didn't make a lot of money. The film made it to the top 10 list.
