Sam Altman: This is what I learned from DALL-E 2

There are a number of reasons why this was the first artificial intelligence that everyone used. One of the things it does is create finished products. Copilot needs a lot of help from you if it's going to work. It's similar to talking to a colleague who's a graphic artist with DALL-E 2. It is the first time we have seen this with an artificial intelligence.

What does Dall-E mean for society?

When we realized that DALL-E 2 was going to be a big thing we wanted to have it be an example of how we're going to deploy new technology.

We want to talk to people who are going to be the most negatively impacted first, so that they can use it. If you are helping train an artificial intelligence by providing data, you should own part of that model.
