Things are starting to become clearer for the former multi-time WWE Women's Champion, who is still a hot topic in the world of pro wrestling.

When it was reported last week that Banks would be appearing at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in Tokyo, eyebrows were raised.

Banks is free to take bookings starting on January 1st according to a new report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.

Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reported that Mercedes had left the company months ago. She is still listed on the official website of the company.

Giri reported in June that Banks was let go from the company after she and Naomi walked out on Monday Night Raw. It was thought that Banks and Naomi would return to the company at some point, but now that Vince McMahon is no longer in charge, that is no longer the case.

As one of the biggest stars in the wrestling business, Banks will have plenty of options when it comes to her future.
